Our Story
Aurelia Astris Lux began long before it had a name.
Growing up, I experienced very sensitive skin and recurring eczema. Care often looked like gentle, home-based remedies—oatmeal, honey, coconut milk—prepared with intention to soothe, calm, and restore. Those early experiences shaped a quiet understanding: not everything created for the body is made with the body in mind.
As I got older, that understanding deepened. Many products labeled as “gentle” or “sensitive” did not feel that way on my skin. Even those designed for the most delicate care were often not something I could comfortably return to. This led me to begin exploring for myself—learning, experimenting, and slowly building a relationship with materials that felt truly aligned.
Over time, that exploration expanded beyond care into scent. I found myself drawn to natural fragrances—florals, resins, and botanicals—subtle, grounding, and deeply familiar. There was something about scent that felt like memory, like presence, like a way to return to myself.
What began as curiosity became practice.
I started creating simple blends—oils, infusions, and eventually aromatic compositions that could be worn, experienced, and lived with. What I found was not only that these creations worked well for my skin, but that they carried something more—a softness, a steadiness, a sense of quiet connection.
Aurelia Astris Lux was created from that space.
